Default Clash of the Big Boys

Totally didn't know where to put this.

I saw a thread in the "Lore" forum asking who would win in a fight between Glint and Kuunavang.

Well, it occurred to me that while these dragons are central parts of the storyline in Prophecies and Factions, they aren't the biggest creatures in the games.

These guys are.

For Prophecies, we have Maw the Mountain Heart:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Maw_the_Mountain_Heart

For Factions, we have The Leviathan:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/The_Leviathan

So, to be purely hypothetical, who do you think would win in a fight between Maw and Leviathan?

I'm gonna say Leviathan. Even though I've never fought him, he's surrounded by the Aspect of Shadows (which means no enchantments), can do 600 dmg in a single attack, has natural regen, and has 5760 health.
Maw, on the other hand, only has two skills to work with. While he does get points for his pop-up-knock-you-down attack, that just doesn't compete.

Yea, the Maw can't knock the Leviathan down. I'd give this one to the Leviathan, he's the best tank ever.

I once tried to cap FoC with henchies.. died not far from his spawn and was swarmed by mobs at the res shrine, I unlocked it using faction quickly after.

Maw will have Leviathan for breakfast.

I don't understand where Maw got his reputation. I've only visited him once, with my necro, to cap FoC. I left from Camp Rankor, with seven henchies, and I was expecting a great fight. We got to him, and he couldn't have lasted 20 seconds. I mean, he looked cool and all, but he seemed pretty weak for a boss, especially with the way people talk about him.

My vote's for The Leviathan.

No, Leviathan is NOT in boreas seabed mission. Thats the Kraken.

The Leviathan is found inside the deep.

I give it to Maw, I went there to cap FoC and I think he's a fair fight...maybe just because the mobs surrounding him are tricky but still....

The boss in Boreas Seabed is the Kraken.

I assume you are talking about the Levithan in the Deep, not the leviathan claw/eye/mouth's spread around the Jade sea.

The Levithan (in the Deep) would win hands down, the only hard part to Maw is getting up to dreadnaught Drift, killing him is easy.

I don't know about the Leviathan, but you can solo Maw with a warrior.

The OP did provide a link to both creatures.

I've never done the deep, but Maw wasn't terribly impressive. Maybe he was in Cantha and did double damage like all canthan bosses... and punched through prot spirit...

Yeah, Maw was a pushover. He's just hard to get to - that's all.

FoC is the most difficult elite to cap in the game. -->The most difficult because it's so hard to get to, not because Maw is tough to beat. I henched my way to Maw from Camp Rankor and after a few hours and 60 dp I beat him in just a few minutes.

Note: This was before candy canes, so if I was able to hench him with 60 dp he couldn't be too tough.

FYI- The easiest way to cap FoC is to get a Droks runner to run you and a group of henches to his spawn point.

I still say that Glint and Kuunavang are the big boys but I haven't seen Leviathan only Maw while capping FoC.It is not easy playing Necro around the Frost Griffons with spell breaker.
